In September 2001, the Parliament of Uganda and AWEPA signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in the implementation of a Parliamentary Capacity building Programme. In January 2003, AWEPA established an office in The office works towards enhancing and strengthening Parliament as an institution.
