AWEPA Executive Committee Meets Print
On February 13 and 14 the AWEPA Executive Committee held a two day meeting. Being both the year of AWEPA's 25 year jubilee, and the year of elections there were many items to be looked at in this first meeting of 2009.


Apart from these important issues, and updates on AWEPA's activities in the last period, the Committee appointed a new Political Coordinator and some Senior Parliamentary Advisors (SPA's). This later role is newly created in AWEPA in 2008. SPA's work in AWEPA programmes as parliamentary experts, give advice in project development and implementation, contribute in workshops and seminars, assist in partner and donor contacts etc.

Another important issue the Committee considered were Programme and Management strategy documents looking ahead for the coming years.
