Climate Change Resources from the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) Print
In 2008 AWEPA is embarking on a new theme of parliamentarians and sustainable development, in particular what role parliamentarians in Europe and Africa have to play in the climate change debate and the effect of climate change on the African continent. One of AWEPA’s key partners in this subject area is the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), an independent, non-profit research institute working in the field of sustainable development. The IIED published a series of opinion and briefing papers in December 2007 in the lead up to the Bali Climate Change Summit, which are a useful tool for parliamentarians to learn more about this important issue.
