Lucia van den Bergh went back to Mozambique in 2008 to interview more than 50 people, who have been or who are still involved in the Mozambican process for peace, democracy and political stability. Some key questions are addressed in the book: Why was this process successful while it often fails in other countries? What were the crucial elements that contributed to the success, and what failed? What does it
mean for the Mozambicans now? Has it contributed to a better life for the people in Mozambique?
