Parliamentarians to Combat Climate Change Print
Parliamentarians need to take urgent action in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to meet the imminent consequences of Climate Change. That is the conclusion of the SADC Parliamentary Dialogue on Climate Change, Water and Food Security, which concluded on 30 October in Cape Town.

In response, parliamentarians from six African countries, joined by academia and experts, have identified recommendations for parliamentary action. The objective of the seminar was to increase parliamentary action in Southern Africa related to Climate Change and Food Security based on the African European Action Plan on Climate Change and Food Security of AWEPA.
