AWEPA co-organised an inter-parliamentary conference on the Great Lakes Region with the Joint Secretary of the United Nations/African Union in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) from 26-28 February 2007.
This activity, the first one of its kind, has allowed parliamentarians from the Great Lakes Region to contribute to peace, stability, and development in their region.
