Seminar on the Pact of Security, Stability and Development in Rwanda |

A national seminar on The Role of Rwandan Parliamentarians in implementing the Pact of Security, Stability and Development in the Great Lakes Region was held in Kigali, Rwanda on 1 April 2008.
On April 1, 2008, the Senate’s Committee for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Security in collaboration with the Association of Parliamentarians for Africa (AWEPA) and the National Coordination Mechanism for the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, conducted a seminar on the role of Rwandan parliamentarians in the implementation of the Pact on security, stability and development in the Great Lakes Region signed on December 15, 2006 by Heads of States and Governments from the eleven member countries of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, namely, Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
