Update on AWEPA Sections: Renewal process Belgian Section |

AWEPA’s section in Belgium has always been one of the organisation’s largest and most active sections. In light of the recent election in the Belgian Parliament, AWEPA’s office in Brussels has set up process to revitalise the section, acting through the Section Steering Committee and the Belgian Political coordinators.
The first phase will target all newly elected MPs at a national level, and the second phase will expand to the decentralised bodies in the Communities and Regional Parliaments. Up to now and impressive 53 new members have joined the AWEPA Section in Belgium, and during the course of 2008 meetings and activities will be organised for the Section.
