Donors

AWEPA receives financial support from a broad funding base composed mainly of European cooperation agencies, non-governmental organisations and international non-governmental organisations. In particular, in 2016, AWEPA’s donors are the European Commission, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Irish Aid, Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, AWEPA receives institutional funding from Sida, Irish Aid and SDC, as well as in-kind contributions such as office and staff facilitation, and venues for activities.
