Born in 1955, Ms. Lundgren is a member of the Swedish Centre Party and a current member of the Riksdag (Parliament). Currently Ms. Lundgren is a Member of Nominations Committee, Committee on Foreign Affairs, Deputy member of Committee on Defence, Deputy member of Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs, Deputy member of Committee on European Union Affairs, Deputy member of The Swedish Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Deputy member of Election Review Board and Deputy member of Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence. 23 May 2013: AWEPA’s Swedish Section organising a luncheon seminar on ‘Democracy and Sustainable Development
During 2013 AWEPA’s Swedish Section will be organizing four luncheon seminars in the Swedish Parliament on the theme Sustainable Development in Africa. The first took place Thursday 23rd May (please change this on Friday to ‘took’ place) with the theme ‘Democracy and Sustainable Development’ with Mr. Vidar Helgesen, Director IDEA as guest speaker. The other seminars, which will take place in the second half of the year, will be on ecological, social and economic sustainability.
