Getting involved - The Role of Parliamentarians to ensure Aid Effectiveness, Austrian Parliament, Vienna, 24 June 2009 The North-South Dialogue of Parliaments is hosting a seminar that will explore the role of parliamentarians in effective aid delivery. Prominent speakers will include Hon. Brendan Howlin, AWEPA Vice-President, Ms. Marina Ponti, Director for Europe of the UN Millennium Campaign, Ms. Laura Leyser of the Austrian Development Agency and Dr. Jeff Balch, AWEPA Director of Research and Evaluation. The actions of the Mozambican Parliament will serve as a case study for the seminar. The North-South Dialogue hopes to welcome to the discussion Hon.
